Peter Emanuel, Jr.
Peter Emanuel has been providing private piano lessons for over forty years, first at his home (in New London, then Waterford), and now at Thames Valley Music School. He began classical training in New London at age eight with Beatrice Hatton Fisk, and then with William Dale. Peter studied with Leonard Seeber at the University of Connecticut, graduating in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education. He has since performed in a variety of settings, from solo to big band, as a pianist and vocalist. Peter served as Director of Music for twenty-three years at The Williams School in New London, where he now serves as the history department chair. For the past several years, he has been the accompanist for the choruses at Waterford High School and Clark Lane Middle School. Peter welcomes students of all ages for piano lessons in all styles of music.
