About Us - Thames Valley Music School

About Us

Located on the campus of Connecticut College, Thames Valley Music School is recognized as one of the finest private music schools in New England and has been providing the highest quality musical instruction to the residents of Southeastern Connecticut since 1979.

We offer individual instruction in piano, stringed and wind instruments, percussion, voice and music theory, as well as ensembles for all ages and abilities, including our new Orchestra for advanced students.

TVMS students receive access to Greer Music Library’s 16,000 Scores, 20,000 recordings, 11,000 books, 85 periodicals, 400 DVD’s and 12 Listening stations.

Thames Valley Music School is located on the beautiful campus of Connecticut College in New London, CT, in the Cummings Arts Center, Music Department.

We offer private instruction at our satellite locations in:

  • Old Saybrook
  • Stonington High School
